Well, after messing with the pinion angle, I decided to try other things; I replaced the poly tranny mount with the stock rubber one, and voila, all of the harsh vibrations were gone. I cruised the car at 90 and 100, no more glove box wanting to pop itself open. I stlil have a slight vibration for 70-75, but that could be due to worn, potentially out-of-balance tires. I expected a littler more vibration with a poly transmission mount, but not as much as I was getting. It wasn't noticeable at all at low speeds.

Great news... Happy to hear it's fixed. So it was a driveline vibration, just stemming from the lack of compliance in the mount bushing.

something is still not right....the soft bushing is just absorbing the vibration....pinion angle or worn u-joints but prolly pinion angle

And if you want it off the transmission tailshaft, you can run the relocation bracket (this one is for a stick shift car): http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...=106&ModelID=7
Thanks Sam. I'll probably add these to my spring purchase, of course, now I have to save more money.
