Default BMR Springs, before and after pics!

BMR has great customer service! I ordered these through Dennis at BMR. He even called me a few days later to make sure I had received the package!

Before:

After:

Well that is right after the car was lowered, so it hasn't even had time to settle yet. Sorry the pics suck and for the car being dirty. It has been raining here in Oklahoma non-stop for almost a week now. So no time to wash the car or take good pics. The car now feels very stiff, and handles a lot better than stock! The stance of the car is great! If your looking for a slammed look, these are not for you. If you have LT's, and just want a good stance, then these springs might be what you're looking for! I had measurements of the height, but i have seemed to have lost them. But I did measure the wheels gap as well with my fingers. I had a four finger wheel gap before the springs, on every corner. I know only have a two finger gap!
The clearence is just perfect, my LT's are tucked up there pretty good, so if anything was to scrape it would be the ORY.

Feel free to ask questions!

I personally have a buddy running or old drop springs that cuts 1.36 60ft's. It is a big misconception that lowering springs hurt the performance of a drag car. It works and people have real time numbers to back them up.

How does that matter when these aren't the same springs and the aforementioned springs aren't even sold anymore?

There are guys that have ran low 10's on the new springs. They are similar spring rates for both or new and older style springs. That is what matters.

I think they are only selling one set of springs, but its the new ones that drop the car 1.2 inches

There is only a 10 # spring rate and less than a 1/4" height difference between the old and new springs...

Not true. Spring height matters as well. I'm not saying the springs don't work but at least be accurate in the information you post.

it was easy, but i had a problem, the front struts were rusted to hell, so i couldnt seperate the struts from the rest of the suspension, had to cut them off.

but other than that it was pretty easy, and the back was cake!

just ordered a set of these springs myself; I'm glad to hear the long tubes clear. That was a worry of mine. BMR has great customer service; I ordered them in the afternoon on day one and received them the morning of day two.

I couldnt get the top hats off the shock. The shock absorber shaft, where it bolts on the top hat was rusted to ****.
