Been a long while in the making. STR.T's have been out for a while for other cars (I do a lot of them for Mustangs). The plan has always been to make them for F-bodies, but I don't have an ETA or pricing. I can tell you that they are about 40% less vs. Koni Sports for the Mustang, so I'd estimate them to be roughly the same for the F-body, maybe around $575/set, but that is just a guess based on what is available.

Coo. Is there n e thing we can do to push em into producing em. Like mass flood of e-mail inquiring about em lol. How do the mustang owners like them?

Doubt there is much we can do to push them into anything. Being that I've been waiting on some, already in production parts, since June.

They are basically valved like Sports at full soft. They aren't replacements for Sports, just a less expensive option that will be able to damp most normal lowering springs and stock springs. But I tend to like more damping (like I run my Sports, and most of my customers do as well stiffer than full soft).

Think of these like Bilstein's, but with better ability to control higher rate springs, though not to the extent Sport can.

Most Mustang guys like them a lot. Some find they lack a little damping vs. what they'd prefer--I am one of those, but admit I'm picky.

So would these go well with your lowering springs or should one step up to the adjustable Koni's you sell?

If you are just cruising, these will be fine. If you drive more *ahem* spiritedly, have extra weight in the car, or just want to have contorl over how the car feels and acts--then you'd still want Sports. Basically these slot in between Bilstein and Koni Sports, or rather, they will when they arrive.

Seem like a good option for shocks. I hope they come out soon!

Me too, but don't hold your breath, because they've been pending for over a year... and it's take 3 years in one case to get new Sports out for one particular car.

I hope it's sooner than later too, but seriously, if you need shocks you can't count on these being ready in the very near future.

Now if Koni would only release something for newer WRX's and STI's...

Default 2010

I emailed Koni about the expected date of release and their reply was the STR.T shocks are still in engineering and they are hoping for an early 2010 release date.

Well they were also, as I recall, slated for an early 2009 release at one point (about when the Mustang STR.T's were done).

When they get out, then they have proven to be a good option on other cars. But what I'm trying to instill in your guys is that if you wait for those, you might well be waiting a long while. If they are still in engineering, that means testing has to be done, then production.... Then shipment to the US. MHO, "early" 2010 means maybe April. Could be wrong, but considering there are dampers we are waiting on that have already been in production before until December I'm not inclinded to believe we are looking as say, January. Could be wrong--don't think so.
