Default Relocation brackets needed or not?

I just ordered LCAs and SFCs they are to be installed next week hopefully. Will I need relocation Brackets? I dont understand what they are used for. My car is not lowered. I just need traction. The LCAs are the G2s.

Thanks,

I believe you only need them when you lower your car to correct the angle of the LCAs.

I appologize for not understanding... Can the LCAs be installed without them.

Better question is "Will I only need them if I am lowering the car?" I plan on lowering the car at a later time for now I only need to get traction.

Yes I believe that is correct. You will need them when you lower your car, but not otherwise.

The lowering bracket's will help with traction on a non lowered car, I run my LCA's in the bottom bolt hole of the lowering bracket's and that help's alot when launching the car.

Like Joe said, they will help ANY cars traction, lowered or not.

I have a 1.5" drop on my car, and have no brackets and didnt notice any change for the worse.

I do not have the relocation brackets, and have had the Pro-kit and G2 springs on my car with no ill effects. The car hooks up well with no wheel hop.

I'm not saying anything about ill effects, I've run my car with and with out and it comes out of the hole way better with them than with out them. If you tried them I'm pretty sure your statement on the car hooks up well would change.

With that much LCA angle bias on stock height, did you pick up any
rear brake hop?

I can hammer a 80 MPH to 0 braking and won't get any rear hop at all.
