Default Wheel Hop with Nitto Drs

I just got my Nitto Drs put on my stock Z28 rims. I have to admit they are nice tires. The only problem is when I dump the clutch around 2000 rpm the rear hops. It did the same thing with the stock tires. What rear suspension mod whould be best to stop the wheel hop. I have only done a few runs on the street because my local track is closed for the winter. But I want to stop the wheel hop before my rear end breaks. I cant wait for my track to open to try the Nitto Drs. Any advice on running the Nitto Drs would also be very helpful.

you dont really need adjustables but it also wouldn't hurt either. Plus down the road it might come in handy depending one what your plan on doing with the car. And if you arent lowered yet you don't need the relocation brackets.

The key to fix wheel hop is relocation brackets even if yours is at stock height. With Moser 12 bolt, Edelbrock TA, LCA's (non-adj, poly), I hate major wheel hop problems when the tires spinned. Installed Spohn relocation brackets and wheel hop was elminated (stock height).

Adj. LCA's can change your pinion angle if needed. I haven't had a need to change mine yet so I'm just staying with my cheap non-adj LCA's for now. 1.8 60' with ET's and a slipping clutch.

I had a 98SS M6 and LCA's reduced the wheelhop.

I never did relo brackets but it sounds like it really helps too. I would still get a little bit of wheelhop.

How long do you think my rear end will last if I get the LCA's and a PanHard Rod I only have the mods thats in my sig. And I usually dump the clutch around 2000 0r 2500 rpms. I dont go to the track much or do alot of street racing because I am affraid of the Law.

As it was told to me by TR a while back the adjustment of the LCA does not affect Pinion Angle. The adjustment of a TA does that. And the adjustment of the LCA affects the position of the axle within the wheel well. So, you use it for when you go to larger size tires and you need to center them in the wheel well.

DUH... You're right, not sure what I was thinking. The only way to change pinion angle is through the TA.
