Default Replacement Front Rotors

Which ones to get?

I bought some el cheapo cross-drilled and slotted ones from Irotors last time and they are once again warped and cracking! I am thinking Powerslots or Eradispeed's... Any suggestions!

Why not Autozone rotors for $38 each. Or are you going for looks? I have iRotors on mine and have never had a problem, then again I am very nice on my brakes

I still say Brembo OEM. If you want the car to stop. If you want driveway jewelry, that is something else.

Pick up the Autozone rotors. They stopped me no problem on my 120mph passes down the track. You can replace them every 6 months if necessary for the price.

The AutoZone rotors are definitely the toughest ones out there for the price. I had them on my 10-second Formula. Just about any replacement rotors will warp however, it really depends on how much you abuse the brakes or not allow them to cool down, or if you do no properly torque the lug nuts. Even the high dollar Eradispeeds still warp on these cars. I've had a ton of different rotors now, and I've just learned to go easier on them, then they last just fine.

I beat the **** out of my brakes, so maybe Autozone will get my business. I do not need anything special. I was just looking for something a little more durable than what I have now. It is just that I have $250 gift certificate from Thunder Racing that I have to use! I was thinking brakes would be good thing to use it on!

Those are Auto Zone rotors? I like the look of those. How much were they, and do they come with a warranty?

Currently, Hawk HP+ (street/track pads). I'm going back to Carbotech as soon as I melt these down (I'm not liking the hawks so far). I've also run Panther plus (Carbotech) and Panther XP. I've got a set of XP's in my garage with only a few miles on them (I removed them to try hawk) that I'm probably going to be swapping to real soon and a set of Panther plus rears. They eat rotors, but being able to modulate the ABS at over 100 mph is all the bite I need (and prefer). The hawks don't have the bite that I'm used to (good pads, just not my preference, I tried them and "now I know").

I had a slew of warping problems with the factory rotors. I swapped them for Baer Eradispeeds almost two years ago, and haven't had a single problem with them. I'll be buying them for life! That's including my 76 mile daily round trip commute to work, and 5-9 passes a week at the dragstrip from March until October. Zero problems so far...

I'm also a stickler when it comes to lugnut torque. I keep checking mine often, and I feel that is one of the cheapest things you can do to keep your rotors happy. It also doesn't hurt to be gentle on them every once in while too.
