Anti-seize is better than nothing, but not what you want to use. It doesn't much like the heat. Synthetic brake caliper grease is best.

Good to know, I have some synthetic grease in a tub, I'll use that when I tackle lubricating the rear pins, or I'll just pick up another package of that brake grease.

Anti-seize is used on spark plug threads, I would have though those would get hotter than the pins?

100% agree.

This is the best stuff to use for disc brakes, synthetic ceramic lubricant:

Only use anti-sieze if you are in a bind and don't have any high temp silicone brake grease available.

Did the rears yesterday, passenger side no issues, driver side I had one that was seized, but no where near as bad as the front passenger one. It didn't want to move, I took the top pin bolt out and then was able to rotate it down, the bottom one was the culprit. Now that everything is cleaned up and lubricated the car stops in a nice straight line now. I should have known there was a issue back there on that side, I did pads/rotors on the rear about a month ago because I had metal on metal, the one pad had no friction material left, on that driver side. Same deal though did both at the same time so I had no idea parts weren't moving properly.

Looking at repair manuals during pad changes they never mention lubricating the pins, they only mention it if rebuilding the calipers. Should be revised!
