I can't hook to save my life!! help please
I don't know whats going on. Is my setup not worth a **** or what? I have BMR springs, Founders Performance lca's/drop brackets, BMR adj. phb, oem replacement shocks. At the track it hooked up good but not great, but on the street this thing will absolutely not hook even with ET Streets at 15psi and a healthy burnout. I like the stance of my car with the BMR springs and i'd rather not put a stock spring back in. I think the springs may be a little to stiff for what i'm after I'm wanting a setup that it going to allow me to hook and plant the *** street or strip. Any help and/or suggestions would be great.

Hello
It sounds like you have all the right parts. But I would suggest looking into a adjustable shock to help with your weight transfer issues. What is happening is the weight is shifting to the rear. But the OEM shocks are not carrying the weight and rebounding too fast. That is whats making the vehicle not hook. Seeing how you have lowering springs I would suggest going with a good adjustable such as a Bilstien or a Koni (something that is valved for a lowering spring). If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks

What about some QA1's? I've been thinking about those for the rear
Yes, the DOT slicks 26x11.5-16

I had SFC's, LCA's and a PHB with ET streets and could get it to hook worth a ****. I talked to the guys at UMI and they suggested relocation brackets and QA1's. I just finished my install this morning and took it out. The traction is WAAAAY better.

Did you go with the QA1 "F" series for the rear? I'm about one click away from ordering a pair I'm looking on thunder racing and summit at the "F" series. On thunder racing the part # is TC2501P, on summit it is TC2502P? Different "F" series shocks or what? and the price is $20 different

I had those tires on my car and went 11.7@118. No sixty that run, but was pulling 1.8's all day long launching at 6500rmp's on a ls7 clutch. that was with a phb, lca, and sfc, and 3.90's. Car needed a little more power out of the hole.

I show TC2501P fitting a 67-69 Camaro and a 62-67 Nova
Hope that helps,
