Abnormal Poly bushing wear ? Pics*

If the bar was upside-down, then two things:
- the pumpkin loop on the bar would be up and close to or touching the pumpkin cover,
- the ends would still be "twisted", but in opposite orientation (take one of the pics and turn it upside-down... the ends would still be wrong).
Like was said, the ends appear to be twisted.

I have seen that kind of wear because people cranked the end links down with the suspension in full droop. You have to make sure they are snug. Then tighten when the suspension is carrying the vehicle weight.

Still here guys..... lol ..... just got back from offshore...
OK.... I went & pulled the rear sway off & for grins turned it upside down upside down to see how it would work out.....
It sat maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 inch from the diff cover. The ends of the SB ended up oriented about 3 to 4 inches DIRECTLY below the the mounting hole. Aside from being so darn close to the diff cover, it almost looks like it belongs that way. I say that because the way the sway bar ends are sitting, there is no radical angle in between the bushings like you you see in the first pics I posted. The Links would have needed to be shortened also.
Sorry for the I-phone pics guys........

Anyone know what the standardized length for the rear sway bar links are ? (spacer & bolt)
I'm kinda lost in the sauce right at the moment , I talked to a fellow F-body owner the other day that took a look under the car ........... he said he thought the rear sway bar on the car might be after market already........
I did notice a possible part # stamped on the rear sway -- " 19907 "
I have done just about everything but go up to the dealership with the part# & ask to find out exactly what came on the car. Maybe if I figure out exactly what is on the car, I can then find the correct link length. Hell , I can make my own links.... I have bushings & access to a large variety of high grade hardware. All I have to do is transfer the washers & bushings to new bolts & fab a appropriate length spacer.

Well got ahold of some new links BUT........
I picked up some new links for the rear sway for 10 bucks & decided to try them ........... LMAO!!!
I think these are about half a foot to long though .........
BUT these did allow me to not have that radical angle that was tearing up my bushings on the previous links. The spacer on these new links was 6" 1/8th & the bolt itself was just over 9" ........
In the pic of the links under full ride weight there is only 4 & 3/4" ground clearance.
Took it for a short drive & noise's are WAY down & the car seems to behave a bit more......
I think these are to long to keep on though. I have never seen anyone with these this long yet.
