Want my car a bit lower, already have stranos
Is it possible? I'm throwing around the idea for a winter project. I have Koni 4/3s and Strano springs, but I want my car to sit a bit lower. Would it be possible to do without chopping or replacing springs? I know ground control makes a conversion kit for Konis, but I don't see how it is possible to make the rear any lower without using a smaller spring, heater hose mod being the exception.
Thanks in advance

BMR will be releasing a Lowering A-Arm very shortly. This will give you a 1" drop. Price will be around $350.

Interesting. One inch may be more than I am looking for but I'm interested to see what you guys have coming

The car has limited travel. And in this case he's looking to lower the rear, from what I can gather. First thing to know is that the axle is bigger than stock, raising the rear vs. a 10-bolt. You could do the isolator mod with my springs for a big more drop.

Actually, does anyone know how far I am from bottoming out my konis?

If you go any lower and don't up the spring rate, by a LOT, you run a huge risk of breaking/bottoming the shocks. There is precious little working travel there to start with, and on a set of my springs as mild as the drop is the Koni has about 55mm of travel left.--that's about 3.6" of actual wheel travel. That's one reason the rates of my springs are what they are.

Wasn't there a thread a while back about using the lower perch on the Koni's w/ Strano springs along with the Upper Mount Mod to increase the travel? This along with the heater hose mod in back would give an additional .75"/.5" drop over what you have now....that is if it's safe.
