Default GM Motive power bleeder

Does the cap on the bleeder fit 4th gen f-body master cylinders or does a generic adapter/kit need to be used?

Thanks

You can order it with a GM specific cap. Mine fits just fine.

The other nice thing I like about it is you can pinpoint leaks if there are any w/out the help of someone. I found two leaks today in my SJM/!ABS conversion when I pressurized the system. They would've gone unnoticed for a long time if I were doing this the traditional way...

Her: can't you do it, dear...!

Yes, there is. Just give them a call or, go on their website.

Only issue I had with my Motive bleeder on the GM master cylinder was the cap on the brake fluid reservoir loosened up a little somehow while I was bleeding the brakes. Made a mess. I freaked out for a minute. But, I rinsed everything down. None of the paint was damaged.

I used the same cap as for the brake fluid & used the other rubber bung that comes with the kit, don't know if you're supposed to? but it sealed properly.

Yep. Happened to me as well. Brake fluid shot all over the firewall and engine. Pushed the car out of the garage and rinsed ASAP. Brake fluid is mean to paint.

Motive sells a thicker rubber washer to make the adapter cap seal tighter to the reservoir.

My kit came with two. One is about .050" and the other is ~.030... Tried to sandwich them together after that happened to no avail. Just made sure the cap was on tight and all was well.
