Ideas how to fix LCA rattle?
I was curious if you guys had any ideas other than what i've been able to think of to fix my clanking LCA's. I know its from when 2 years ago i put on a set of rod ended LCA's and i had to drill out the mount on the body to make the bigger hole for the new LCA's fit and I couldnt stand the clanking anymore from the rod-ended arms so i put back in the stock ones. But since the hole is bigger now the stock bolt has alot of play and still clanks around in the mount...
My ideas were to...
1. pick up a set of LCA's with poly bushings and drill out the bushings to be the same size as the hole on the mount and get a properly sized bolt.
2. Get a sleeve with an OD the same size as the hole on the mount, and an ID the size of the bolt. and place the sleeves on both sides of the LCA in the mount.
Do you guys think either would work or do you have any other ideas?
Thanks so much!

I think the main clank-stop, stock, is the puffy bushings
with the rubber bound tight to the mount.
Might be hard to bush only the mount holes. Would you
be willing to weld on plates with the proper tight holes
drilled?

That was another way i was thinking of fixing this. That would probably be the best bet huh? What thickness plate would you guy suggest to use? and what type of metal, just mild steel?

Which control arms are you trying to put back on the car?
I know if you use a set of our regular TCA001 you can still use the 1/2" hardware....problem solved
Additional information regarding the TCA001's along with other BMR products can be found HERE
