Default Jam nut size on LG Tubular LCAs?

What size is that jam nut? My 7/8" wrench is too small. If anyone knows the exact size please let me know. I'd like to know the right size before I go off to Sears

Levi,

Is this for the jam nut on the xmr-12 rod end that you bought for your arms? If so, drop me a pm and I'll check it when I get home (I've got a pile of jam nuts in a bag in my office) and let you know.

I think it's 1" or 1 1/16"

I know a 12" crescent wrench will work ...

Thanks man, I don't think Sears had one that big. I'll just get the huge crescent wrench. Man those suckers make A LOT of noise if the jam nut backs off

Sears has wrenches that are that large. I have one, but it came in a set of 8 or so.

That reminds me, my jam nuts are loose as hell. What type of loctite is recommended for them? Red, Blue, Green?

Maybe it's the crescent wrench tight you use?

Loctite Blue
