Default shocks

I am looking at shocks for my whip... it's a 94 z with a complete stock suspension but I am picking up a set of bmr rear lower control arms and relocation brackets. I have a buddy who works at bmr and suggested if I want to save some money I could go with the comp engineering shocks but I found a set of front and rear kyb agx shocks for what I thought might be a good deal. what does every one think?

Everyone will say Koni, if you can afford it. If not, Bilstein SLP/HD's are a good second: www.stranoparts.com

Sunday driver occasional trip to the track. I have a 383 low compression set up I have intentions a few years down the line to add a super charger which should put me in the 700rwhp area.

Are you planning on lowering? If not, I'd go with the SLP Bilsteins for the same price, they're better built and seem to hold out better.

BUT....if you spent so much on your motor so far, why don't you spend a little extra $$$ and get some Koni's? If not, the Bilsteins or the AGX's will still be a huge upgrade over stock. Definitely give Sam a call regardless.

"sunday driver occasional trip to the track"... dragstrip or roadcourse/autocross?

ok then... I would suggest the external adjustable Strange or Afco shocks for what you are doing. Just a few clicks of the ***** and you can go from race mode to street mode and the fronts will be ride height adjustable at the lower spring perch. These type of shocks are a little more sometimes that the other styles, but you will not find yourself buying a different set later down the road and saying "I wish I would have"! Give us a call or pm and we can help you out with whatever your suspension needs are whether it be control arms, relocators, or shocks, and at the guaranteed best prices.
