Default ***UPATED*** my first attempt at lowering my car....

well today was so nice out i decided to finally put my hotckis lowering springs and adjustable panhard rod.

well jacked the car up got the tires off pulled the front springs/shock assembly out only to find out that.....

i didnt have rust built up in the upper strut mount like some other lucky me...

so that was the good part i took the fronts to NTB to have the lowering springs put on my stock decarbons... i know

so any how moved to the rear swapped out the springs no problem of course then pulled out my non adjustable BMR panhard rod and adjusted the new one to the lenght...

so i go to put it in when i noticed i didnt any bushing or washers...

so i called the place i got the bar from and they will be rush sending the missing parts out first thing monday.

so that was the first thing that went wrong today. then i went back to NTB to pick up my shock/struts back when i went to mount them they had put the upper mounts on the wrong struts and the lil nipple wouldnt go in the hole so it was to late to go back so it will have to wait til tommorow urg... so that was my day, just thought id share.

well today came i went and had the strut mounts fixed and finished installing it this morning and well here you have it....

doesnt really seem lower to me but that me

I love how both delays were caused by the manufacturers accidentally messing up.

It's not just the driveway, you need LCA relocation brackets if you want it to sit correctly.

LCA rb's don't made a difference with ride height.

Anyways, OP, I think it actually sits pretty damn good. I don't like the slammed look at all, and it seems that your gap around your wheels is exactly even, which IMO looks best. Springs seem to sit lower as you put some miles on them too, try a few good starts/stops/turns to settle them in....if nothing else, it's a good excuse to drive like that

Yeah it was a pretty easy job as well we would of had it done in 2 hours if not for the waiting on NTB.

I think your car is 1 inch lower because it definetly sits lower than mine.

I think I will be back early from leave and we can probably hit the drag strip one more time before I deploy.

Car definetly looks good though.
