Default brake problems

I had my front calipers powder coated and rebuilt. Now everything is all back together and the fronts aren't holding very well and the pedal goes to the floor. Since the system drained out while the calipers were off I bled the entire system. I bled the master and then used a tech2 to auto bleed the ABS. Everything went fine it seemed but I can still turn the front rotors by hand when the pedal is pressed. The backs are holding and will not turn. The pedal feels good but will go all the way to the floor. Any ideas of what could be the problem?

When I had the tech 2 hooked up doing the ABS autobleed it was good with no air coming out of the bleeders.

I bled the brakes again but the fronts are not building pressure. When opening the front bleeders after pumping the pedal the fluid just runs out with noo pressure, on the rears it has good pressure. The thing that has thrown me off is doing the ABS bleed there was good flow from each caliper and everything seemed good. Why would it do this?

Are the bleeders pointing up? Did you bench bleed the master (you mentioned bleeding it, what process did you use?) It's a long shot but sometimes sediment will build in the abs module and mess with the tech II procedure. Also check the bottom of the maser res. for sediment or blockage. Getting the ABS to activate while driving (like in a wet empty parking lot) and then bleeding again usually works to knock loose any sediment so you can get a good bleed going.

Also, are you doing a two man bleed the traditional way? Or using a pressure/vacuum system to force the fluid out?

I'm using the old two man method and then the tech2 to bleed the module. So far i've made some progress but I still have a little air in the system. The front bleeders are pointing down but the rears are above the supply line.

Please tell me I'm understanding this wrong.
Did you say the bleeders on the front calipers are pointing DOWN? If so, there is your problem and the only way to fix it is to swap sides w/ your calipers so the bleeders point up.

This..

The bleeders need to be at the top of the caliper so that any air that is trapped in the caliper accumulates at the top, around the bleeder, so that it can then be BLED off.

Swap sides and try again.

^ what they said. Also you might have better luck with a pressurized bleeder system than the two man deal.

I was just wondering about this since both calipers are off for paint. I figured it would be easier to bleed the brakes with the bleeders pointing down. Glad I found this out before running into the same issue.
