Brakemotive review, after install!
I ordered the complete kit last wedsday. $165 shipped for pads and slotted/drilled rotors all four corners. The person I ordered through over the phone was friendly and answered all my sceptical questions. So after a few days everything showed up. And wow, everything is very nice. Also everything was packaged very well. And even came with install instructions and pad breakin instructions. I was truely shocked at how nice all the stuff is. So I took a few pics of before and after. So after the install and breakin. I have to say, I made out like a bandit. My car stops on a fricken dime. Way better than the old stock parts. Like as in no comparison. My seat belt has never hurt my collar bone with the old brakes. ****, My face hurts I can stop so hard now lol.. anyways, I thought I would shed alittle light on the to good to be true brakemotive deal for $ 165. I wish I would have bought this brake kit along time ago. I couldn't be more pleased! If you guys need brakes, don't be skeptical. This is a steal! Its all powerstop products too. Im so happy my car can fuckn stop. It was pretty scary before. I just figured I would share my experience with u guys, because people rarely post about any good experiences they have. People mostly post about bad experiences and like to bitch and complain. So I thought I would switch it up a bit. Thanks Stunna

I'll probably have mine on the 17th (today). I look forward to actually being able to slow down when doing over 100mph (faster than wind drag anyway).
I'll do a before and after of my wheels prior to installation. One of the big reasons for getting the set was to reduce brake dust. Whatever the deeler put on when i bought the car leaves the front wheels completely black in less than a week (they are stock rims, so not black). Not even exaggerating.

Thanks for all the positive comments! The Z16 ceramic pads included with the kits are an awesome street performance compound. The key to getting the best stopping power out of a new rotor/pad combo is bedding the new parts in properly. I figured this would be a good place to post the recommended break in procedure;
The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moddumerate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.

So far so good. Got the brakes this past weekend. I got the full pkg drilled and slotted. So far it's like night and day. Both the quietness of it compared to my previous brakes and the definite increase in stopping power. I haven't yet tested it at > 110 braking but i can't imagine they wont be 200% better than my previous rotors where stopping at that speed was slower than just rolling the windows down.
They look great and i wish i had the time to clean up the calipers and wheels better. Either way, it's a vast improvement.

Braking performance
I had pretty much the same experience. I got my brake components right away after ordering and after it finally warmed up here I installed them last weekend. The performance of the brakes seems to be excellent after driving over 200 miles so far on them. I did take care to get all the proper torque specs and follow the bed in procedure and I think these are key. In addition, Brakemotive responded immediately to my question with an informative answer.

I am a huge fan of the Brakemotive products. I have used them on both of my f-bodys and my brothers GTO with great results. my current car has brakemotive pads at all 4 corners and hawk hps pads in the front and the z16 in the rear. I finally got a change to beat up on the car this past weekend and I must say they performed flawlessly. VERY impressed with this company would recommend to anyone!!!

Just ordered mine this morning based on all the positive threads I'm finding. I can't wait to get them installed now. I'll also post my findings, Brakemotive seems to be a hell of a find. I'm always a bit skeptical of too good a deal but these guys seem to be a class act. They were exceptionally quick in getting back to me when I requested an order link so that's a good start.
