I was just telling a guy about the stranos springs sfc and konis i just did on my car
its no hype this things are amazing! Sure theyre pricey but worth it and the konis
have a lifetime warranty. Now the car is stiffer im taking turns quicker and couldnt
be happier.

I had KYB AGX shocks on my previous car and they were much better than the stock shocks. I just put a pair of Bilsteins on the rear of my current car and I haven't driven it hard yet and I still need to do the front shocks, but they are noticeably higher in quality than the KYB shocks. They are easier to install due to the allen head in the top mount that makes it easier to tighten down the top nut.

Konis if the budget will stand them, Bilsteins if funds are a little tight....

I've heard very good reviews on SLP Bilsteins (Strano has those too), I plan on putting them on my car.

I just did my blistens last week from strano...perfect performance aftermarket shock and their on sale...
You should call Sam Strano like I did..he'll do you right

You want konis if you plan on lowering from my understanding..
Blistens seem like the way to go

If you’re budget conscience like me, I highly recommend SLP Blistens. I replaced both the front and rear shocks with stock Z28 springs, and WOW what a difference it made. The car feels a lot more stable at speed and going over residential road hump is no longer an adventure for me. I brought my at the WS6 store.

I have to disagree with the notion that Koni's are overkill unless you lower the car. Yes, lowering a car works the shock harder and Koni's have more ability to deal with that over the long term. But shocks also control mass, and that mass is there regardless of the height. I have two stock height cars, on Koni's. There is still a difference.

It's a bit basic to say if you aren't lowered then Bilstein's are fine. Kind of like saying if you engine is stock, headers are a waste. Not true, sure headers help an engine that breathes better, breathe better--but they help a stock engine too.

The height is set by the springs, the look won't be different between Bilstein and Koni if the Koni's are set on the upper spring perch as they should be with lowering springs.

I absolutely love mine, I run Strano springs, and Koni DAs up front (got em for next to nothing) and SAs out back. Great for my car which is a dd that sees some drag, and road course time. Sams stuff kicks many forms of ***. can't go wrong.

I run my car with Koni's and stock springs, I love it. You get the handling, stability, adjustability (which I've used a lot to dial in the ride that's perfect for me, and finally found it), and control of the Koni's with the comfort of the stock springs....Strano gets my vote also!

Used to be quite different, today that's not the case. Which is why I started carrying SLP's in stock a lot more. Have an order of 15 sets on the way as I type this.
