Question LT1 TA - rear bump stop install

I ordered some rear bump stops for my car from Summit I believe, after putting in make and model of car. They sent me Energy Suspension part # 9.9137G (Jeep/Univeral B).

Questions: a) is this the right part? b) Have any of you installed these before?

It seems there is a lip on the outer edge of the stock bump stop that makes it so these are not a direct fit. Should I be slicing these mounts up with a razor, or pounding out that lip with a hammer? >.<
