Default Rear Trans Am Bumpstops

I need to get a set of rear bumpstops for the bird before it gets lowered this Friday.. I thought I remember reading a while back about ones made for a jeep that will work that you can by at any auto parts store? Is this true, if so anyone have a part number and/or opinions on this.. I know I can order some from Strano etc, but I'm looking for something cheaper/quicker.

Thanks

Summit racing and hawks third gen sells them as well. $30 from Strano is pretty cheap though.

Try a local store, napa or something, and look for the CJ5 up to 1986. I think that may be what you are looking for.

You either need to slightly trim the bump stop where the metal lip would hit it, or cut the metal lip off.
FYI, No spacers are needed.

I learned the hard way from when i lowered mine. Wasn't bad at 1st but shortly after My shocks took a sh*t and anyone over 80lbs would cause me to bottom out like no other and in time they no longer excist. having shocks yet again helps but every so often....well ya. So these jeep ones are the way to go?
