Pinto racks were popular because they were one of the first
R&P to hit the junkyards in a domestic body. So they got used
on a lot of customs and the aftermarket kind of settled on it
as the R&P unit of choice for front clips, K-members etc.
But whether it's the best fit for an F-body, I dunno. There
might be some adapt-em-up action required in the steering
linkage. Or maybe the linkage interferes too much (Camaro is
angled kinda funny, to me) to even adapt up.
Not to say that there isn't some other manual rack that would.
But it would be a hoot if the Pinto, was it.
