Default Do rear springs just pull out?

How do you get them out? When you lift it by the body they should just hang there and let you pull them out by hand right? Or do you need some kind of compressor or something?

Usually just unbolt the bottom of your rear shocks, hang the rear as far as u can and yes the springs should just pop out , sometimes you need to pry alittle.

Since I did the 'heater hose mod' (search if you don't know), I can jack up the car from under the rearend (not the body) and rest the car on jackstands under the rear 'framerails', then I can, without undoing the shocks or swaybar drop the jack enough (until the shocks extend fully) to get them out by hand. Hope this helps you out.

I unbolted my shock and sway bar end links to get my 12-bolt low enough to slide the springs out

Be careful not to overextend the brake line hoses when dropping the rear, once you unbolted the shock slowly lower the rear and only enough until you can remove the spring.
FYI, you can do one side at a time, and you don't need to remove the sway-bar end-links, just loosen them up good.

ya, that and if you have a stock style rubber/poly bushing mount the TA slides into. You can damage that if you let the TA rotate down a lot

Thanks guys I did it today in the morning and it only took about 25-30 mins. I just lifted it up, put it on jackstands, took the wheels off, unbolted the shocks from the rear, pulled old springs out and put new in, bolted shocks back up, put wheels on and done.

I kicked mine out, the springs were small enough to kick back in.

Yea I just popped the stock ones out with a little prybar. I could have done it with my hands pretty easily and than the bmr's just slid in without any force. I had my impact going and it went really quick and easy
