Default s60 and bmr torque arm problem

I am installing a s60 in my camaro. My bmr torque arm is pretty old, guessing maybe 12 years. So it only has one set of holes, which the instructions that came with the s60 said it would fit fine. But it doesnt. The question is where should I drill new holes in the mounting bracket? The picture of the dual pattern bracket shows the holes directly next to each other. But the s60 instructions say that the mount is moved 1/2" sideways and 1/2" forward. So should I drill new holes right next to the old ones or move them 1/2" forward also? Thanks

BMR= not much help on this one. Told me that they have changed arm design and bracket a bunch of times. So I would need to buy a new torque arm. I think I'll try drilling new holes in it and cutting it. Thanks for the help.

I know bmr sells the rear bracket seperately, ask them if that would bolt up to your torque arm.

They actually told me that it wouldn't due to the changes that have been made to the bracket and arm over the years. A template with holes marked on it would have been great. But I guess I am just going to wing it. Doing it this morning. Hopefully it works or I will need a new arm.

a little bit of trial and error getting it to fit. The profile of the bracket was a little different than the new ones so I had to move the new holes forward and to the passenger side a little more than I originally thought. But an easy fix. Took maybe 1 hour to lay it all out and get it done. Better than spending $300 on a new one
