At a weld or in the middle of one of the tubes ?

and the fact that you were doing 35mph the time means nothing, Its been breaking more and more for a while, that was just when it finnaly got to 100%

Yes I have heard of this. There are pictures of aftermarket a-arms failing at the welds for the bungs that hold the bushing ends, and the shock mount bending.

At first I thought you were talking about rears! I have heard of welds breaking on front control arms.

After a lot of reading about aftermarket front lower control arms, I'm not impressed with any of them at all. They all have the same flaws, the same weaknesses. Better to just stick with stock lowers, IMO.

The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 5 characters.

Question

Looks like an older version, not sure who made that -- how long have you had it?

2 things:

1) it was already 1/2 broken long enough ago that 1/2 the break seams to be rusted
2) its broken due to normal rotational forces

keep the new one greased and dont over torque the bolt. problem solved.

^ Phone them, I am sure they will make good on it... If you look at the current pictures, it looks like they have improved the design....
