If it were my car...and I've had the same setup, I would run a 315, minimum 305.

Going to get 275/40/17 and 315/35/17. Any particular brand and model?

I have the best luck with Nitto on street cars. Pretty affordable and a solid tire - parent brand is Toyo. I am on my eighth or ninth set of NT555s. Have I owned better tires? Yes...absolutely. But I like the 555 because it's a solid tire at an affordable price that gets good mileage. I only invest big money in my racing tires because I blow through those all the time. Four or five sets of slicks a year and two/three sets of road race tires a year, depending on how much track time I have.

NOTE TO NITTO: If you update the 555 to a newer design, "I will love you until your heart stops beating!"

FYI running more narrow tires in front will cause understeer.

What are the advantages of lowering the perch height? I noticed that they come with the ring on the top setting, but there is also an option to move this ring to the bottom setting.

You should not use that lower setting. That is for use on stock springs to get a little drop, but you have lowering springs so you want the perch to remain at the OEM height, which is the upper perch.

Thanks Sam, was able to get the front springs/shocks installed yesterday.

Next up, have to install the watts link.

Here's an update as to what's been going on...

Got the springs/shocks installed around Thanksgiving. Did everything myself, wasn't too bad. The jam nuts for the rears were a bitch for some reason. One of the nuts got stripped. Had 2 jack stands and 1 and a half floor jacks (one didn't have a handle) lol. The spring compressor rental was free from AutoZone.

Since I got the on-car adjustable Koni shocks, I decided to adjust them after they were on the car. Rather than taking the easy way out and adjusting them before installing them on the car, I figured this would help me learn how to adjust them in the future.

It wasn't as easy as I thought though. Had to remove the tire, and put a floor jack under the a-arm to compress the spring a bit so I could get access to the Koni adjuster window.

These plastic black caps came with the rear Koni shocks. I'm not sure what these are for, anyone know?

I started installing the Fays2 Watts link last weekend. Took a TON of grinding on the passenger side to make the watts fame fit correctly. I felt the holes were way too big and ended up putting washers on both sides. The driver side went on okay. I did have to snip off a piece of the metal heat shield.

I'm still not done installing it yet. It's been rainy and cold the last few days, plus busy with work.

Had some free time yesterday, so I threw on the 3-point subframe connectors and the lower control arms. I got the poly/poly adjustable LCAs. I just set them to the stock length for now. Everything went on pretty easy, it definitely helps to have a floor jack under the subframe connector to help bolt it into place (I was doing this by myself, no help).

Threw on the relocation brackets too. I didn't have anything to saw off the brake bracket, so I just bent it out of the way for now.

The Strano sway bars showed up today, they were on back order for a few weeks. The powdercoating on the rear bar is already chipped. Not happy about that. They seem to have been packaged well, so I don't think it's because of shipping. They came sealed individually in plastic, as well as packaging material in the box. Haven't had a chance to inspect the front bar yet, buddy showed up so we went to go eat. I already had the rear sway bar off. Took a pic of the stock and Strano endlinks as well.

Nice write up dude. The pictures are really helpful. Very interested to hear your thoughts on how the car works when complete.

Still need to install the torque arm + relocation kit, and the drive shaft loop.
