Default Suspension brand recommendations

I'm going to order some adj LCA's and PHB and was wondering what good brands are. I really can't imagine there is too much difference in brands because it's not much more than a steel pipe. I'm wanting UMI because I have other suspension components from them that I love but I found some other ones from a sponsor that are a lot cheaper. Just wondering if you get what you pay for on here as I know happens often with these types of things. But how much different can they really be?

Speed Inc has really good prices, free shipping over $100 and they're actually cheaper than every other sponsor on their UMI stuff.

It really just depends on your budget. I got a sweet deal on some UMI adjustable poly/poly LCA's though.

BMR all the way for me. I'll never buy anything other. I order directly from them. Ad there Xtreme duty line up is KILLER. My last 2 cars and my next car will have all BMR suspension products and all there Xtreme duty stuff.

Thats my opinion. Good Luck

I prefer UMI, especially during their Cyber Monday sale. It is true that fabricated suspension parts can be pretty simple (like a trailing arm) but can also be very complex (like a k-member). UMI components are manufactured with the same pride and attention to detail regardless of component and we truly feel they are great products.

your not going to find much difference between brands when it comes to those 2 parts. The difference will come when you use lighter metals (CM) and different ends (poly, rod, roto). I use 5 different company's for all of my suspension. for those 2 parts, i would go with UMI. Keep in mind, reagrdless what you pay for the part, you are also paying for customer service when/if you ever need it.

BMR, UMI, MWC, Burkhart etc etc etc

There is a HUGE difference between manufactures products. Material quality, types of material used, what manufactures heim joints come with the product, and so on and so forth. When it comes to these things you want to look at who is building product to make a buck or who is building product because it is their passion.

We have a sale going on right now that can't be beat.

I do not agree that it's all just a peice of pipe. There are a lot of design and testing steps involved in any suspension part. If it was just pipe, WalMart would sell the stuff for 1.99.

Look at the manufacturer, track record, customer service, and amount of R&D that goes into the parts.
