New Subframe Connectors From Founders Performance!
These are our newest part that is ready for shipment. They are a round tube weld in subframe connectors. If you have any questions please feel free to ask us.
First thing that should be done to stiffen up the chassis and allow the suspension to work properly is the installation of subframe connectors! Subframe Connectors assist in maintaining the overall integrity and longevity of the vehicle. Take a close look at any unibody car that has been run hard. The doors don’t close quite right and the alignment shop has trouble getting the car to drive straight.
If you want your car to remain rattle free and you want to get the most out of other chassis and engine mods, you have to connect the front and rear frame sections with something stronger than sheet metal. Sub-frame connectors are an absolute requirement for all types of driving.

We will be coming out with a box design but we want to finish our torque arm first. Because these are designed to be welded to the pinch weld / rocker panel these will have greater overall strength than a box design that only connects the front to the rear.

^ No ****... I wonder if there is a complete kit? TA, PHB, LCAs, SFCs... Id probably do a whole kit at once considering their prices. Swaybars would be awesome... I figure you could do a whole car for around $800

Yeah I've already got some of their stuff, but I definitely want a TA and some SF connectors! Maybe they'll make an affordable K-member eventually... ahem ahem

Interesting, how do these compare to the Hotpart SFCs?

Thickness isn't really a factor in the mounting of our parts. The shape of our mounting forms would allow us to make them thinner and still maintain proper strength. The axle side is 3/16" with complete gussets which make them extremely strong. The front side is formed out of 1 piece from 1/8" cold rolled that completely boxes the front subframe. Our parts are not simple flat plates which would require thicker material to achieve the same strength.
