Default Black rotors anybody? (PICS PLZ!)

I'm in the market to get new rotors. I've come across some black rotors and am curious if anybody have these and what their opinions are. Please post pics if you have these on your car.
Thanks!

i just ordered a set of black ebc rotors, supposedly the black wears off the surface pretty quickly but stays in the slots and drill holes. ebc is quality stuff so im sure they are worth it. if anything, it will resist rusting.

Hmm, thats a bit of a let down. I'm sort of picky when it comes to the rotor bc it will be behind an all black rim. I'm trying to stay away from the bright silver finish (if that makes sense lol) and I was hoping the black rotor may be the answer I was looking for

r1 concepts makes rotors that they paint black, the black does come off where the pad makes contact though. Might look pretty cool with slotted rotors? I had them on my last car, don't know if they make them for our cars however.

I guess you could do a black iron anodize on a "show set".
Liable to be inferior for stopping power, I think.

But for me, loud & filthy sends the right message.

would anodize affect the friction between the pad and the rotor? i would think some sort of coating would affect how the brakes perform...i could be wrong though

As a designer, I feel your pain. Unfortunately they don't "make metal in different colors"

My EBC rotors have lasted exceptionally long, but yeah, that black coat wore off pretty quick. This is a pic after three years of use (rear axle)

Stoptech rotors, just after install (fronts, last spring)

well if you look around some of the corvette websites there is one that sell color anodized rotors for vettes but with a kit can fit our cars. they come in multiple colors and are pretty badass just don't know how good they hold the color*
