Default Painting Calipers Red

How should I go about this? Wanting something that isn't going to fade over time. I have heard powder coating is one of the better ways to go but haven't researched prices. Can anyone post pics of theirs and what they did? Thanks

Powder coat them or dont bother. $50.00 is fair to do both calipers. Be sure to mask off the bores and bolt head contact points with the right powder coating masking tape.

The powderpro is very reasonable. You'll be without the brakes for a few days unless you do an exchange.

I used the dupli-color brake kit they sell. It comes with brush on paint, brake cleaner, tape, and a brush. It takes a few coats but dries very nicely. cleans easily too.

+1 for DupliColor... I did the red nearly a year ago... still perfect. Had enough to do mine and my brothers with leftover for touchup if needed... my only recommendation is go to the hardware store and get a few foam brushes.. their wider and work very well for eliminating streaks and drips...

Dupli-color brush on kit here also. The only thing I wasn't really crazy bout was it took a lot more effort than spraying but I figured that the brush on stuff would last longer. Over a year old and still looking good. Oh and I used a whole lot of engine clear over top of the color.
