Default New Rotors and Pads

I just placed an order with Rotor Pros. I was able to get a set of blanks with the hubs painted black and halk hps pads for 180 shipped. I'll post more reviews when I receive them.

I just bought a set of Bendix rotors and ceramic Pwr Stop pads. I hate brake dust showing on wheels so I bought a ceramic pad again. I am interested in seeing how dusty the HPS pads are or aren't in a week. Could you get a pic?

just the fronts. I found a massive crack in one of my rotors so I will get to the rears over the summer.

I will definitely post pics when I get them on. I've mostly good things about them so I'm looking forward to getting them installed.

Are they Zinc coated? The reason why I ask is because of rust. I have had my zinc coated slotted irotors on my Z for years and still look great.

No, I don't believe they are zinc coated. I've never used zinc coated rotors before. Doesn't the zinc coating come off after you start using them?

Finally received the rotors. Placed the order on the 4th, received them on the 16th without the pads. Company say's they are waiting to hear back from their Hawk supplier. So, pretty disappointed with the customer service, but can't complain too much because I did get a good deal. Overall, the rotors look great.

that looks bad ***.

I HATE it when people put new brakes on a car and dont paint the rotar hat black. Those will look nice.

Are those two piece, or is the center hat just painted?

I just installed some Bosch QuietCast rotors and Hawk HPS pads on my RS -- rotors are fully coated (I assume zinc?).

The crap rotors the previous owner had some poor metallurgic properties and was pitting -- looked like craters. This car goes through midwest winters with salt, so that contributes too...

Exclamation

The rotors "look" good. Can't comment on how well they perform because I have yet to receive the pads!! I placed the order on April 4th and it is now May 14th. I have been in contact with the company at least once a week for the past month and every time I call they tell me the same thing; "they are working on it". I asked for my money back last week and then again today so we will see if I get my money back for the pads. DON'T EVER BUY FROM ROTORPROS. WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. I would think that a small company such like this would want to keep all their customers happy but I guess that's not part of their policy. I recommend that no one wastes their time or money by buying from them and just go with another company.
