I finally hit bottom
It's low and mean.. but I need some advice.
With Koni adj. struts (yellow -part # 8241-1139SP) and Intrax springs (part # 17001) the rear end bottoms out too easily. The handling is excellent...
What can I do to soften the blow? I'm worried about doing damage when I hit unpredictable road rash, sudden dips, train tracks etc..
I don't mind raising up the back a bit if there's an easy way.
thanks!

Since he's got single adjustables, he can only adjust rebound which won't change anything.
Monroe Sensatracs and Intrax springs huh? Yeah that sounds like a recipe for bottoming out alright!

yes that is your problem, monroe sensatracs are crap. i had them on my car foever and my tds would drag the tip everywhere, as soon as i put on my bilstien hd's and strano springs it stopped and was much firmer out back.

With the intrax springs (which I have btw) you need a quality shock (Bilsteins minimum), isolators, and bumpstops. I drilled holes in my ES bumpstops to ease the shock of hitting them which Ive only done once. The most important thing is knowing the road you're traveling, plan your route, and know what/what not to avoid

For one thing, if the compression was adjustable it's not really meant to be adjusted firmer to help cause less suspension travel aka help stop prevent you from hitting bumpstops. Compression is set to control unsprung weight. It's just a bandaid. If you want to do it that's fine by me but I'm just tossing this in to prevent any misconception info from spreading around.
