Default I need to replace my WS6's shocks

Im going to do my first replace and install of the shocks and struts on my WS6. Can anyone recommend a brand I should use; and nothing too pricey. I want it as close to original as possible. Thank you.

Bilsteins sound like what you are looking for. That's what they came with from the factory and they are relatively cheap at $370 (or about 2/3the price of Konis).

Ws6's did not come with bilsteins from the factory. The came with shitty revalved DeCarbons. Bilsteins are a big upgrade

You'll find that these both ride and handle noticeably better than the shitty orange/black decarons you probably have now.

Bilstiens were an option, just like Konis from the factory...

Truth here. I asked Sam Strano about the KYB agx when I was looking into lowering with springs. He suggested KONI or a Bilstein revalved, but in reference to running lowering springs.

I've heard of people running Monroe sensa tracs on their SS / Z28s with stock springs (sometimes even lowering springs) and having good luck.

Stick with the bilsteins. My dad got his 02 z28 and I just replaced everything with bilsteins. The previous owner had the monroes in the back and they were too soft. They also made a lot of noise.

Bilsteins are a nice upgrade. I DD mine and they are very comfortable even on Virginia's horrible roads.
