Default Are brand new in-box Koni 4/4s supposed to...

Be insanely oily and have that chrome end cap loose so you can see the damping holes? I am SO looking forward to finally installing these things this weekend.

I would, but he's closed for the weekend. I'm about to go to OReilly's for a pilot bushing. When I get back, I'll take the pics. I didn't think so, either. Thanks for responding.

It's worth it. I installed mine with Strano springs this week, it feels like a different car. Money well spent.

you will have to remove the cap to get the spring mount slid over the shock
then replace it and tap it down in place.
