Question Whats the need for Dual Rod ends on LGs adjustabe?

I was looking into getting a G2 adjustable PHB bar and I see they have 2 kinds. One has poly bushings on one end and a rod end on the other.

The other one has a rod end on each end. What would be the purpose of this? They call it the race model.

With a rod-end on both sides, the possibility of a bushing binding inside of the mount (and thus inhibiting rear-end travel) is eliminated, but road noise can potentially be increased as a consequence.

I have the Dual rod end LG piece, and its been silent since day 1. Great piece, plus it can be adjusted while on the car.

A bushing will deflect. This is not a good thing when racing.

Ok, very understandable, I can see actually why now. Also I figured there might be a noise increase. Thanks guys

Brands have nothing to do with LCA's. Just make your own with good rod ends. Anyone that has played with Tinker Toys can do this.

I disagree....many brands are better then others, quality, welds, material etc makes a good control arm.

Point taken but irrelevent when you make your own. I happen to use chromoly rod ends (QA1 XM), 1.125 OD billet 6061 T6 Al and no welds. My $.02
