99 camaro spring question eibach
i went to eibach's websight to see what they had but they only had the pro kit which is 1.2in drop front and rear.
i looked under the v8 version and it had the sport kit which was 1.6 front and 1.4 rear.
now i think that might be cool if the front was a tad lower in the front than the rear and be lower in overall compaired to the other kit but if there basing it off of stock heights where the v8s different ride heights than the v6 or what??
pro kit 3870.240 1.4in drop front and rear
v8
pro kit 3870.140 1.2in drop front and rear
sportline 4.7038 1.6in drop front and 1.4in rear
now y they dont have a sport kit for the v6 i dont know i would think that the springs for the v8 and v6 are the same so they would fit on eiter but im not 100% sure.
also there might be spring rate differences on the pro kit and sprotline so even if the v6 pro is 1.4 and the v8 sport is 1.4 one might be stiffer than the other. and i do believe the sport is the stiffer of the two.

I've been thinking about getting the actual V6 kit, or trying the V8 Sportline kit. That's cool it drops out more in the front, It would probably be more like an even drop on the V6. I like my cars on the ground.
I've heard the engine weight is pretty close though, since the LS1 is aluminum block heads and bigger. The L36/L26 is cast iron block/ heads, but is alot smaller.
Anyone know a source to find the actual engine weights?
