car okay without rear springs?
got a friend who wants the stock springs from the rear of my project car. The car wont be running probably for another year or so, and I know I wont be running the stock springs anyways.
Just wondering if it's physically okay/possible for the car to be without springs?

Nope... springs are part of the suspension that keeps the car suspended above the axle. Can't remove the springs and have the car weight on wheels.

I can't see why there would be a problem, as long as there are no clearance issues with exhaust, or wheels. Other then that....what's the worse that could happen, a rut in your bump stops??

I have moved mine without springs before. I had poly bumpstops installed though. I don't see why it would be a problem if you still had the factory bumpstops installed, just make sure the factory ones are in halfass decent shape. A lot of the factory bump stops for these cars are almost dust.
