Default Just put my strano suspension on

So before I put it on the back sat up higher but now the back looks real good but the front kinda looks high, does it take time to kinda brake in and drop or could be cause I have 245/35/18 on the front 18x9's? Should i go with a 265,275

The front will break in and lower just a tad, Strano says his springs do not sag, so I wouldn't think its that, just that everything will settle. To me his springs give a "leveled" kind of look, where as I prefer just a little rake. Perhaps later I will drop the front just a little more for my own taste, but chances are yours will sit level or close to it when it's all said and done.

The large number typical represents width of tire 265, 275, etc. The next number is associated with sidewall or height. I run 275/40/17 and looks great with stranos springs. My springs never "settled". Once they were loaded with weight on them that was it. If they ever sag or break in than the springs aren't doing as originally designed.

IVe noticed that firebirds have a slightly larger wheel well than Camaro. Not sure what you have but that could be it.

I believe their is a case where your shocks can be the culprit for a car sitting funny... this probably doesn't occur with anything on our fbodys. But it's happened when I had my STI. The rear struts in the 05 STI would have the pistons get so damn stuck, that I would occasionally sit on my bumper when the car was parked and it would then break free and fall an inch.

Why are you running such narrow tires???
Run 275/40 in front, and 315/35 in rear.

I'd run a 275/35/18 on those 18x9 up front, those 245/35/18s are too short (24.75").

275/35/18 or 275/40/18 if you prefer more sidewall look. if you are 285/35 in the rear then defintely do not do 40's up front, stay with 35's unless you plan to redo the rears with a taller tire. If you go a lot wider like a 315 and stay 35's up front, then you will want a 30 series tire in the rear. just keep an eye on overall tire diameters and get them as close as possible to each other and if anything, go ever so slightly smaller in diameter in the front.

Who cares what tire size he runs, that car is not sitting right. Any installed pics with the wheels off? Something can't be right. The Strano springs were built for performance but normally look awesome as well.

So I should go with 275/35/18 and the sidewalls will look the same as my back "285/35/18"

Stranos springs do now lower it a whole lot. Just give it that leveled slightly lower look. My car droped about 1.40 in rear(stearo system weights alot) and 1.25 in front. My front could be a tad bit lower but no complaints here as the car drives and handles amazing now.

Go with the 275/35/18s up front, that's the widest recommended tire to put on a 18" x 9" wheel, in the rear a 295/35/18 would be perfect on your 18 x 10.5s.

How much have you driven it Roland? If very little, it will come down a bit when you drive it more. All the springs are the same, I only make one set. I think something else is going on. Springs aren't seated in one of the locations (upper mount or lower spring perch isolator) quite all the way. Or the suspension was hanging and the lower control arm bolts were loosened and tightened while in the air, which causes the arms to kind of stick in that drooped position.

Given your tire size, that's not it... the fronts should be slightly shorter... the car is nose high. If you have extra weight in the back of the car (big stereo) that will drop it more. You could have a bind up front, and/or the springs aren't completely seats in the notches where they belong. Also remember that the seals in the new shocks are tight and when they loosen up some that could make a 1/4" difference. Looking at the rocker panel it's not way off... it is more noticeable on a light colored car.

Still curious how much you've driven it and if it's been aligned.
