What are these shocks? Red, de Carbon (France)

Default What are these shocks? Red, de Carbon (France)

My 99 bird came with these already installed they look almost new. They are a red/orange and all they say on them is de Carbon (France). I guess they say gas filled too.

Are these just the factory replacement shocks?

Yes those are OEM shocks. Junk also lol.

Well, they were probably OK until the internal seals wore out 5 years ago...

just a driver being set up to handle. Stock f41 suspension except, TA front and rear sway bars and energy suspension bushings. 16x8 wheels with 245 50 16 Ventus soprts.

Wow, the bilsteins are quite a bit more affordable...Are he Koni's really that much better?

Everyone on here seems to think so. I can't comment from experience though at the moment.
