Ding in rotor surface
I recently bought a pair of rotors from R1Concepts, and one of them shipped with a couple dings on the rear surface. This was NOT shipping damage, as the box had no holes or indents in it. This definitely came from the manufacturer.
I called them up, and they said that they'd replace the rotor, but they wouldn't be able to get it to me until maybe the 28th or 29th (i.e. 11-12 days from now).
My question is: should I replace the rotor and wait ANOTHER couple weeks, or would you just install it as is? It took the original rotors 10 days to get here (western PA), so that would be a grand total of almost a month without my car, thanks to R1.
Needless to say, I will never be ordering from them again.
