Default Stock height seems odd

My 1995 Trans Am has a very slightly raised front end. Basically the car points up oh so slightly. Is that normal for these? The suspension seems fine, car only has 49k miles on it. I just wanted to ask before I start trying to diagnose problems that don't exist

usually they have a slight rake from back to front not the other way around. But ive seen stock fbodys sitting all kinds of jacked up.

My 02 trans am sat high in the front before I installed drag shocks and springs.

Hmmm, so do you think there's anything to worry about? Like I said it doesn't ride unusually rough or anything.

some f-bodys do sit higher in the front than the back, theres nothing to worry about if the car is driving normally.

sounds like your rear springs are sagging which tends to happen over 18 years of gravity pulling on them....get some new strano's springs or something like that. My personal opinion is don't get the Eibach's because the rear springs on these wore out fast and so did my friend's. We are all looking for some new springs....

A 'normal' stock F-body stance should not be 'higher in the front'. I owned a '96 Formula for 9 years (bought it new in '96) and it never was higher in front. You should get it checked out as it could be just simple replacement parts needed in the rear.

It could be actually sitting close to level, but the front wheel well openings are a little taller than the rear so it can make it look like a reverse rake.

My car sits like that with the Strano springs because the 3800 isn't quite heavy enough. Oh well, it rides amazing which was the main thing as the stock springs were shot and the shocks were crap.

I agree...

Take a couple of measurements along the rocker panels, with the car on a level surface.

I took some measurements along the rockers. The rear rocker was 5" off the ground, the front of the rocker was about 6". Here's a pic of it. I apologize for the crap quality of my phone.

I got under the car today, wanted to get under it sooner but other plans got in the way. Discovered the right rear coil is broken. Two new ones on the way.
