Viking Coilovers Installed
Installed my Viking coilovers on all 4 corners. Overall, it was not too bad.
Up front I needed new top hats (old ones were seized on) so that wasn't too bad. Did not have to use a spring compressor which was a good thing because they **** me off more than anything else lol.
In the rear things were a little weird. Thanks to GM, the nut for the shock is all the way up by the seatbelt, so you have to take the carpet partially off and get those two screws on both sides. Then with the brackets, the bottom hole screws in where the old one was, but then you have to drill a new hole (through the top bracket hole) in the piece of the rear (picture attached).
Overall, I am happy with how my car looks, but if I could offer some advice to Midwest Chasis or Viking, it would be to take the time to create some instructions. This 7 hour (total) job could have been easily done in 4, had there been step by step instructions of what goes where.
Also, open to any questions!

** Did not get a pic of the rears**
Here is the bracket I was talking about and the hole you will need to drill to fit the other screw
Here's how my car is sitting now.

Car looks good. Have you driven it on the street yet? If so, how does it feel on rough roads/bumps? I know they're not gas charged shocks so I am nervous about buying them. My car sees 90% street. I've been reading about these shocks for a while and I keep seeing mixed reviews.

The whole Viking coil-over package including the lower transverse mounts are less cost than just the shocks alone from Koni, not to mention the Viking shocks have a 2 year warranty and springs are lifetime.
MWC has been doing 4 corner cpoil-over on the f-body cars for several years with various brands of shocks. This package with the Viking d/a shocks are the best value you will get, and we have the guaranteed lowest price!

For those who ran just the front coilovers first, would you say it was a night and day difference instantly or just a slight difference? I'm saving up for all 4 corners but I got enough to get the fronts right now.

Personally for the fronts I am running something like 11rebound and 12 compression. But I also have a higher spring rate so they're stiff enough

Yes. Handling was much better. I ran my first track pass with the fronts on and they felt good paired up with the decarbons (stock shocks). Plus you get to get rid of that ugly front wheel gap.

I have only put about 50mi on my fronts, and have not made it to the track. Settings are as per the manual for drag racing. Yes night and day difference on the street. I can tell a difference just from a half throttle pull. The front lifts nicely and it plants hard. I had absolutely no weight transfer before the install with the stock shocks.
