Good Daily Shocks
First off let me say I just got my first LS car and love it. Also this is my first post on here.
So I've been searching around a lot on the internet and it seems like a lot of people like eibachs but I'm looking for a good shock that doesn't require a lowering spring (I want to keep the stock height), is good for daily driving but is also good for planting the rear tires. The car should have roughly 400rwhp (haven't had it on the dyno yet) so I'm hoping to find a good in between daily driver and drag racing shock setup.
I know a lot of times people say use the search bar, which I did, I just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks

Depends on your budget: Konis are one of the best you can buy however they're expensive. If you're looking for better than stock performance with a $400 budget, Bilsteins are the way to go.
The Koni.STR.T is also in a similar price range of the Bilsteins -- I don't have personal experience with them, however they're designed to be a budget alternative to the Koni Sports.

Thanks so much guys. When launching the car with any of the shocks mentioned above, would it raise the front at all like what you see on drag shocks? I know of course it wouldn't be as much

The Bilsteins or Koni Str.t's have more aggressive valving and are more dedicated towards handling. So the rebound is much stiffer on them and will not allow as much front end lift. The Koni Sports are adjustable, and can be set to a looser setting if desired for drag racing

I've cut 1.70 60's on Bilsteins with 400rwhp with the only other suspension mods being BMR LCAs and a stock torque arm. Theres a guy on here that's cut 1.5 60's on Bilsteins with a body mount torque arm and 600hp. Bilsteins do fine for drag racing a mostly street car and will be more comfortable on bumpy roads than the other two mentioned in this thread. Consider your roads you'll be driving on the most, around here, more than 50% of our roads are mediocre at best.

I have bilsteins. I have a 3200 stall with adj. TQ arm, and LCAs. I can cut 1.50 60' times on the back tires all day long. other then the stall and a tune im stock. Im about to replace mine as they gave out after 9 years. Id swear by them!!
