Does removing one end link basically give the weight transfer benefits of removing the sway bar? Or do I need to remove both? If possible Id rather just take off one of course

It will but you may or may not run into different problem, With just one side undone that end of the sway bar will still travel up and down.... If there is room for it to move it's fine but on some cars it doesn't have the room and it will bang against the suspension. You can also remove it completely and pull 30# or so pounds off the front.

Thanks, it has quite a bit of room to move, still stock height if that matters. I was just not sure if it would only allow the drivers side(the removed end link side) to travel and not the passenger side of the car.

Both sides have to hooked up to for it to put tension on either side so you're good to go.

That. But remember its heavy, and on the nose. The loss of weight helps transfer and front end lift too.

Its only 15lbs or so, but I may just take it all the way off. Got a week before the track opens back up so I'll drive it unhooked for a bit to see how I like it.

Can tell a little difference, but if you drag race at all. I wouldn't be worried about it.

I honestly didnt really notice, but i dont take corners fast. The only time I noticed was freeway exchanges where you are forced to go around the corners at hwy speeds.

Removing the front sway bar increases oversteer.

A car with no front and a drag bar out back is mega loose.

It is insane to remove the front bar on anything other than a drag only car. If you drive it on the street, please do not run without a front bar. Pull it at the track or just disconnect it, but don't run without it.

Yeah, yeah.. here comes the list of "I do it and it's fine". It's fine until you either drive the car hard *OR* you have to make an evasive type maneuver... like avoiding a deer, or a kid, or a texting fool. The response is at best sluggish, and the body roll enough the inside rear wheel can come off the ground--and easily.

In fact I've seen this happen at the drag strip when guys get into tank slappers, and that doesn't help them save the car.

My car currently has the UMI front sway bar, and a MWC ARB out back. It would be a nice weight savings up front, but I suppose I'll leave it be for now, for my car is primarily street.

My hollow 35mm is about 14 pounds lighter than a solid one, so you could shed some of the weight pretty easily. Stock bars are even lighter (smaller, but better than not having one at all).

Why on earth would you say that? No it's not a cut and pasted response. Was it not detailed enough? Maybe it's because I've been down this road a million times.

It's not smart to de-engineer a car. Saying "it's fine" just because you haven't had an issue with it is like hearing "it's fine" from the guy who never changes his oil and hasn't (yet) blown up an engine.

Look, it's your car, do what you want.

I respect everyone's opinion here. That's why I ask my dumb questions because alot of you have already done what I am wanting to do and have alot more experience than I do at this. I have been working on getting (saving up the funds to get installed) the huron speed ac retaining kit that requires you to remove the front sway bar. My car is not a daily driver but I do drive it on the street and highway. My question it be possible to fabricate a sway bar for the kit. I know they are coming out with the new kit that keeps the front sway bar but I already have this kit. If someone feels this is the wrong section I ask here because it involves the front sway bar.

I personally daily drove my 99 T/A without a front sway bar for 3-4 years and never had an issue with it whatsoever. I know everybody has differing opinions on it but it wasn't a big deal for me at all. As long as you drive the car responsibly I don't see any reason it can't be done.
