Default Help which koni shocks

I am going to replace front and rear shocks. I would like to go with koni single adjustable. Everyone here seems to think they are the best shocks available. I am looking for a good ride quality, but need to adjust to perform well at the track also. I'm going to use stock springs, I don't want the car lowered. I see there is a sport yellow shock? And some others . Which ones do I need?

the yellow SPORT shocks come in multiple variations. starting with (off-car) single adjustable and going up to double adjustable, so the "cheap" set of Koni Yellows is the single adjustable set you are looking for.

So by "off car" meaning they can only be adjusted off the car?
These are what im looking at:

I just don't see why the need to spend so much more on double adjustable.

Absolutely. Koni yellows also have 2 spring perch locations for the front shock. The upper is stock height, the lower gives a very slight drop on stock springs. Car will feel much better with Koni shocks on the stock springs. Much better ride quality.

my MWC fab 9 has transverse shock mount brackets. Which is not what the koni shocks come with. Is that available for the koni? I think it would need to be converted to a bushing or bearing mount.

yup, the Koni single adjustable (rebound) are what I have. I ran them on the stock springs for about a year. To adjust the fronts, I had to slightly jack the front to expose the adjustment slot. Then you insert an allen wrench or a pick to move the adjustment left or right to either stiffen or soften the rebound. The rears are easy to install and adjust. The adjustment uses the Koni **** that you slide over the top and turn. Whoever does the install, make sure the adjustment slot is facing outside the car; otherwise, adjusting might be impossible if facing the otherway. I installed them myself, and when tightening the top nut on the fronts, the adjustment slot can rotate a little, so you might have to work at it a little. I got mine from Sam Strano, and he gave me some suggested beginning settings - worked great! Have fun!

Ok thanks, I'll make sure the adjustment is facint out. Do you know if there is a lower rear bearing mount available for these?

Do some searching. Strano = handling. He will sell you viking shocks if that's what you're dead set on. Viking's are good for the strip, there are a few threads on this, but I'll be sticking with Koni's or maybe KW.

Koni = Handling
Viking = 1/4 Mile

Strano focuses on handling so I don't see why he would sell drag shocks.
