Default Ordered Viking Coil Overs Today Who has experience on the street?

I just decided today to go with a full set of Viking coil overs from MWC over koni. How is everyone getting along with these on the street?

Let me know if you like them over the qa1s you just sold. Wish I could've jumped on those! I might have to get my order on a set myself.

Actually had a set of koni ordered until I remembered I have transverse shock mounts in Mwc fab 9. Nobody new of bearing mount was available on the rear koni shocks.

We have thousands of street miles on the Vikings and they're nice. Over the summer we ran our '99 on the highway to Carlisle (150 mi), gave 100 auto-x rides on a brutal course, then clicked and drove home.

Good stuff.

they do great. have made a couple trips a couple hours away and made one trip that was 8 hr round trip with them. gotta love the adjustability. to me its not different than stock. get to the track, change em up, make a few runs, adjust em back and enjoy your ride home.

Are they easy to adjust if your car is lowered?

Spring rate varies on what weight mods have been done, and what the purpose of the car is. Even though some may have a similar combo it is always a good idea to go over your particular needs with your shop or vendor.

We here at MWC have a lot of experience with pretty much any combo for the 4th gen cars when it comes to spring rates. Give us a call and we will be more than happy to help you figure out what is right for your needs and set you up with a great deal!

The Viking shocks are 19 position external adjustable on both valves. The adjuster ***** are easy to get to and located near the bottom shock mount so there is no need to jack up the car to make the valving adjustments in the field.

To me a rear coilover just seems like a heck of a lot better deal then shock and spring being seperate , especially with that much adjustability .

Did yours come with all the bushings to mount up? For some reason mine didn't. It's sitting at a shop taken apart waiting on parts to put back together. Is this normal or was I supposed to order something else too? Anyway I can't wait to get my car back and see how they ride with my car leveled in the rear. Sits a tad lower than the front for some reason but these should fix that.

I can't wait to get the Konis off my car and get these on. But something tells me they'll be a paperweight for a while lol.
