Of course I am sure everyone has there opinion and this is just been my experience with the BMR never had anyone want any other type around here. I have installed them a few different ways but I have done it just like BLT FED with the exception I used a floor jack under the oil pan with a 2x12 under it and I have used the engine hoist too. They all work and I know you said not to leave this to the weekend warriors but Black Beasst did it and if he can any one can with a little time JMO? Good luck to everyone installing K-members and if you need them installed in the Houston area let me know I can do it or anything else for that matter. Seeya!!!!!!!
Its dangerous to set your own alignment then drive down the road, in addition if somehow the engine slips you will do a LOT of damage... thats why I Said let a professional do it, or someone with experience... I dont like getting in peoples minds that putting a k-member in is like changing oil, then have them jump into it with their $99 craftsman tool collection and get pissed off because they dont have half the tools required nor a clue how to make it work...

The ONLY thing I dont like about the Pro Fab is you have to use your heavy *** motor mount supports (unless they changed this) the stock ones are Iron and weight a TON

I, being the owner of a 94 3.4 and still piecing together the last pieces of my LS1 conversion, was totally shocked at the size of the huge motor mounts when they arrived this weekend. I thought to myself "Couldnt I fabricate an aluminum or tubular version of these mounts?"

So the Spohn mounts can be used with poly bushings? If so that would rock.

I'm seriously considering on of these for header clearance/weight savings. I am concerned about using it on a daily driver. Are there any cons in using it for this application, or is this more of a "race-only" mod?

Poly mounts were like 50 bucks for the pair... and I have NO vibration at all... I actually think the car vibrates less even with my big cam! I definatly recommend poly mounts!

Still the tranny in the way... if you pull the tranny im sure it will come out with ease... you can very easily pull all the bolts out, but I have never tried taking the pan off in the car, I always yank the engine

They arent coil overs, they are KYB adjustable shocks with Eibach springs...

I put 100+ miles on my car a day... I didnt really notice a change in drivability at all, I just wanted life to be easy if I had to change motor mounts or headers, or if I drop tools or anything into the engine bay

Which bolts need to be replaced with longer ones? I assume a standard grade 5 bolt will not do? I placed an order for one yesterday, but have not heard back from Pro Fab. Can't wait to get it in and the motor running again.

Could you detail / list your own steps for doing it?

So this is direct bolt-in?
