I have a laundry list of things to point out there, but out of respect I will just leave it alone.

Have fun guys

BMR sounds mad because their stuff is way overpriced compared to the competition lol. Overpriced products combined with a shitty staff sounds like losing combination. REALLY glad I found this before placing a $1400 order with them and wasting my time/money with ungrateful people. Looks like i'll be heading to MWC and Founder instead.

LOVE my Founders Panhard rod. And as soon as there Poly/swivel LCAs come back in stock ill be ordering those.

i also own BMR parts on the car.
Both manufactures are very well made and do the job intended.

Ive been around metal a while too, and that was not cut with a notcher for the reasons founders stated. However I have no dog in this fight, I own some bmr stuff and am happy with it. Just wanted to chime in cause I got nothing better to do at the moment.

All this talk from other vendors about Founders "quality issues". But I have yet to see ONE complaint against Founders from a customer rather than a competitor, that alone tells you plenty

I don't know the reason, but it is stuff made in the USA and seems to be built well and I haven't heard any real complaints about their stuff, and so far I've had no problems with the stuff I got from them, so whatever!

I think UMI said it best - whether you get UMI, BMR, Founders, etc, all of it is good stuff and far superior to factory. So get what meets your goals and just roll with it!

I have Founders LCA'a and they are great. I ordered a strut tower brace from them and when it was arrived it had a chip in the paint. I called them up and they sent me a brand new one without even asking for the old one back.

Founders is looking really tempting right now, but being a fellow Pennsylvanian, I really want to support Strano and UMI for my suspension needs...

I have run Founders LCAs, panhard rod, SFCs, and strut tower brace on my last 2 birds. Great quality, great price, great shipping, and great customer service. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the product or company. Very satisfied with everything I have bought from them. I am also running UMI parts at the recommendation of Carl with CRP. Also a great product for a great price. Their tech line was also a huge help. Just my experience as a customer.....

Props to UMI for actually being respectful to everyone else.

OP, I can't say for certain WHY founders is much cheaper, but I have yet to see a single complaint from anybody about that company, not with their customer service or the quality of their components.
This ^. Not sure why every time Founders is brought up they end up having to defend their pricing and product. I have not heard one CUSTOMER who has had a bad experience with Founders. I'm not saying that no one has but either they aren't talking or the owners have all of them buried behind the shop.

I absolutely agree regarding Carl, and the UMI short TA and relocation bracket was a great match for my S60 w/4.10s. Extremely happy with the product and the tech help I got from you guys when I called in.

That would be really awesome! Maybe I'll have to plan a summer road trip. You guys are about two and a half hours away from me though.

Didn't read the whole thread, I've bought both Founders and BMR parts, got BMR springs and BMR strut bar (because they are the ONLY ones that make one that fit the v6) and have Founders on car adjustable panhard and 3 piece poly control arms. Both companies products look to be of the same quality, the only issue I had was a mix up in the bushings for one of the control arms, they shipped out a replacement and I got it installed the next weekend, I've never had to talk to the guys at BMR as I ordered the parts from ws6store, which by the way are very nice to talk to on the phone when I needed to get a fuel pump over-nighted (since they only have standard shipping option on the website).

I've had 4 LS F-body cars over the years. I've had control arms and suspension components from BMR, UMI, Spohn, and now Founders in my most recent F-body. If i got another F-body tomorrow, who would i use for things like strut bar, control arms, and panhard? Founders.

I like their stuff and the quality and workmanship is identical to all the other brands that I've used. Customer service is excellent - I lost a spacer for the LCA and they sent another one out right away.

What I DON'T like is when the other brands comment on things they know nothing about when it comes to another company like Founders. Don't speculate and make assumptions about another company on a public forum if you don't know what is true and fact.

I have Founders rear lower control arms and relocation brackets for 3 years now and haven't had a problem. Really happy with their products.

I have Founders, BMR, and UMI on my car...

The only reason I dont have more Founders products on mine is because they dont offer them yet (front control arms, K member etc. etc.)

but after seeing this thread I will just get Founders and UMI products from now on
