The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I have a Founders PHB and STB, I also have the BMR lowering springs and KONI shocks/struts. Unfortunately I have not put them on yet, I read a poster that said his BMR springs did not settle correctly. I hope I have good luck with BMR springs, I really like the stance they offer. And since BMR has the exact replica of Strano's springs, they ought to be good.

As for some of the other comments regarding my statements in this matter, this has been part of a larger ongoing debate, and I felt it only fair that you (the customers) are informed with correct information. If anyone else had posted that same picture and description, I would have called it out the same way, just as others would have done to me if I had posted that. So, if trying to get clear accurate information is not what people expect from me, I could go the full on overly PC sales pitch route I suppose. But, I like my customers to be informed and have all of the information needed to make their purchase.
However, thanks to this thread, we have finalized an idea and the customers will benefit in the end. So thanks for the feedback guys!

Speaking for UMI, At our facility a product is first designed by an "in house" team consisting of engineers, draftsman, sales/tech, racers and a few others that are employed by the company. We then build a proto-type which is installed on one of our house cars and usually raced or put through the "ringer" so that we can assure it will hold up to extreme abuse.
After we are satisfied with the product we then begin the process of production which consists of raw U.S. material being cut whether it's by one of our saws or our Laser Cutter, then depending on the product it could go to our bending dept., our machining dept. or one of our 7 welders, or all of them. After that it goes to our sand blasting dept. then to our powder coat booth.
I'm pretty sure whether it's UMI, BMR, Founders or any other suspension manufacturer sponsor on this site you will get a quality product that is much better than the factory components.
I think where the difference in price comes in is that some companies go about the manufacturing process in different ways. None of these processes are wrong some just take more overhead to achieve.
