Default Front wheel hub replacement bolts

So I've lost my front wheel hub mounting bolts. Don't ask, just... yeah.

So I did some searching here and found one post saying they are M10x1.5x50mm. Can anyone verify this? I'm thinking of using ARP 662-1007, but two sets of these are almost $50 shipped so I'd like to try and verify it's a good idea before I spend the money. Has anyone tried this? I don't think these bolts are available at the dealership anymore and I'd greatly prefer new bolts.

Have you tried going to your local dealer? They could very well have them on the shelf - for a whole lot less than $50.

Thanks. I called around, the dealerships in this area want between $8 and $10. Looks like ARP is the way to go, assuming that PN is equitable to Grade 10.9 (which I think it surpasses)

I had to replace mine when a couple of them did not hold torque and eventually free spun in the hub. I went to my local hardware store with my hub. I got a Grade 10 bolt that would screw into the hub and replaced all of them. So far, no issues.

Now that I am thinking about it, I think the stock bolts had 10.9 stamped on them. I found replacement bolts with 10.9 stamped on them and made sure they would screw into the hub I brought with me. I then replaced them all.

ARP bolts came in. They're not the exact same thread depth, and include washers.

However, they do thread on tight with included washers (and actually protrude past the hub threads a bit too), and lining it up outside the spindle and hub it seems the extra stock threads are not used anyways. Probably a generic sized bolt that's reused for the hubs as well as other parts.

I realize the photo does some trickery and makes the stock bolt appear to be thicker, but I took a caliper measurement and both bolts have the exact same diameter and thread pitch.

I've run through a few sets, but I just get the Fastenal replacements, for I think maybe $1-$2 each? Never had a problem.

I'm very happy with these ARP bolts. Sure they're pricy, but since those four bolts keep your wheel on and take all the weight from the front of the car and abuse from the road, I don't think the extra insurance of a hardened ARP bolt is all that bad of an idea
