Lol, well I hope they powder coat them. As beautiful as those welds are my Big Gulp condensation is gonna cause surface rust pretty quickly.

I feel like this is for something other than our beloved 4th gens. It's probably for one of them Transformer cars or something. Booo!

Okay, I'll let you in on this. They are the upper mounts for the rear coil-over kits we are getting ready to release.

Can they still hold my yeti tumbler though?

Are you partnering with anyone in particular? Seems like there are already lots of options out there for viking, qa1, etc...

First thing that came to mind was an upper mount for a coilover setup.

We have designed the part based on the use Viking shocks. It should work with any other coilover that uses 1.25" wide mounting.

With 2.7" of weld per side it would be a waste of time and therefore the customers money to weld the inside.

^ I've never ran Founders products unfortunately, but the quality of those welds look more than adequate to hold a shock in place. Plus with all of the positive feedback about Founders products on this forum, I know they do quality work and make a product worthwhile. As mentioned above, it only saves the customer money as the inside welds are more than likely not even needed at all in this situation.

Nice job guys, nice to know Founders is reaching into the 4th gen business with good products and an even better price to match

Was just a thought, I'm no expert. The welds look fantastic. I have their adjustable, rotating LCA's on my car. Very nice pieces. Also had an issue with a new strut tower brace being chipped somehow on arrival - customer service was top notch.

I have Founders products on my car and their products are built like a brick shithouse...

I have no problem running those shock mount relocators when they become available

Are you guys going to be selling the kit with the coilovers or will it just be the hardware and brackets to mount them? I'm also interested in what the price point is going to be....

We will be selling the complete coilover kit with brackets along with just the brackets alone.

We will be selling this kit with Viking double adjustable coilover shocks, Vogtland 2.5" springs, thrust bearings (for easier adjustment), spanner wrench, and our upper and lower brackets for only $574.65. Our first sets will be shipping with Viking springs until our shipment of Vogtland arrives from Germany.

The upper and lower brackets will sell for only $112.46.
